Description
Spooky bone-shaped breadsticks brushed with buttery Parmesan and topped with melty mozzarella, served with marinara for the ultimate Halloween snack.
Ingredients
All-purpose flour for dusting
1 pound pizza dough (room temperature)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Divide dough into 10 pieces. Roll each into an 8-inch rope with thicker ends.
3. Snip 1 inch into each end with kitchen scissors and pull apart to form “bone” shapes.
4. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
5. Bake for 15 minutes until slightly golden.
6. Remove from oven, sprinkle mozzarella on top, and bake 5–7 minutes until melted.
7. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Let pizza dough reach room temperature before shaping for easier handling.
Use kitchen scissors for cleaner bone-end cuts.
Avoid adding too much mozzarella to prevent sogginess.
Store baked breadsticks in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for crispness.
